Kiri Stern

Bio

Kiri has a background in computational biology. She has had the opportunity to apply quantitative methods to varying biological fields such as microbiology, ecology, and genomics before discovering her interests in biomedical imaging. In her PhD, Kiri’s research focuses on developing a federated learning strategy for continual learning and automatic segmentation of MS lesions in MRI of brain and spinal cord data. She is supervised by Dr. Julien Cohen-Adad with co-supervision by Dr. Sridar Narayanan.
