Nadia Blostein

I am a Masters’ student at Dr. Mallar Chakravarty’s Computational Brain Anatomy Laboratory, with a background in cognitive science. Our laboratory specializes in the development and application of neuroimaging data processing pipelines, in order to extract and analyze quantitative measures related to brain structure volume and shape. My work specifically pertains to the striatum, thalamus and globus pallidus, three subcortical structures associated with motor control and habit formation. In my free time, I enjoy cross-country skiing and reading comic books (although I have yet to attempt the two simultaneously). In my non-free time, I enjoy copious amounts of coffee.
