Bio
Hello, I’m Diganta. I’m a graduate student at UdeM affiliated with Mila majoring in Computer Science, specializing in machine learning. My primary academic research interests include but are not limited to theoretical deep learning, sparsity, multi-modality and online learning. In the past I have worked on segmentation of IOPA lesions using convolutional segmentation networks in partnership with a hospital in India. From a scientific curiosity standpoint, I aim to advance our collective understanding of the mathematical theory of deep learning and improve the ability of deep networks to learn under practical constraints. Outside of research, I am an avid football fan and indulge in R&B music.
