Hello, I am Ivaxi and I am currently a PhD student at Mila and ETS pursing research on explainable and generalisable machine learning. My research application is mainly computer vision and medical imaging. In the domain of medical imaging, I have led and published projects on the topic of medical image segmentation, interpretability and generalisation in histopathology and dermatology images. During my PhD, I am interested in developing machine learning methods for real-world applications. I have gained industrial experience as research intern at Imagia Canexia Health and as a research engineer at Imagination Technologies. Prior to this, I graduated with intercalated MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London.
