Bio

Hello, I’m Nghi. I’m a McGill graduate with a bachelor’s in Computer Science and Biology and a minor in Mathematics. I’m interested in data science, especially the applications of deep learning in the healthcare domain. I’m currently developing a creative deep learning solution to automatically segment the stomach and intestine on MRI scans from patients with gastrointestinal tract cancer. This project is a part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Carbone Cancer Center research project. If successful, this project will help cancer patients get better care in the long term. Besides working on my project, you can find me playing chess (mostly bullet and blitz) or writing stories about machine learning/deep learning in my spare time.
